ONTARIO THUNDERHAWKS

The Ontario Thunderhawks is a fictional basketball team created as an opportunity to explore sports branding, identity and logo design.

The project gave me the chance to have some fun with the creative process while developing a bold, energetic identity that feels at home in the world of basketball. From the team name and visual concept through to the logo itself, I explored how shape, typography and character could come together to create a distinctive and memorable sports brand.

As a lifelong basketball fan, this was a particularly enjoyable project, an excuse to take the gloves off creatively and design something purely for the love of the sport.
